Senior User Experience Designer

Higgs Boson Health (HBH) is a dynamic and growing digital health company seeking an experienced UX
design professional to join our team. We embody the true startup culture that affords a lot of flexibility
while also demanding creativity, initiative, and accountability. Your efforts will have an immediate impact on
the lives of patients.

As our Senior User Experience Designer, you will make significant design contributions across our range
of digital health products, starting with understanding our primary users’ workflows and behaviors, our
business needs, and team capabilities.


Example Responsibilities in Your Role Include:

  • Deliver high-quality, impactful user interfaces & end-to-end flows

  • Demonstrate strong design thinking skills by seeking out and incorporating feedback through all
    design stages

  • Hold focus groups/workshops with stakeholders and end-users

  • Perform usability testing and identify actionable takeaways

  • Gain insights by utilizing what we already have: usage data, support tickets, app feedback, etc.

  • Work/liaise with the Higgs Boson implementation & engineering teams to design solutions meeting our
    customer & business needs

  • Support secondary design needs for the business: user-facing collateral such as brochures, videos, and
    online help articles

Our successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree with at least five (5) years experience in UX design

  • Experience designing native mobile apps and responsive web applications

  • Proficient in Sketch/Figma/InVision/Marvel/Jira

  • Exemplary communication skills and experience communicating with customers

  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time-management skills, with strict attention to detail

  • The ability to work autonomously in a responsible, efficient, resourceful manner

  • A strong work ethic with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

  • A keen interest in digital health technology
